Prayer requests:

  • That God will miraculously intervene in the chaos of South Sudan, politically, militarily, economically, socially and spiritually, and bring peace.
  • That the Church in South Sudan will continue to stand strong against the horrors of corruption, tribalism and ethnic cleansing on the national level. (“Blessed is that nation whose God is the LORD!")
  • That God will give great wisdom and courage to the Board of Directors and upper level staff of the Savannah Farmers Cooperative.
  • That those involved in corruption will reap the results of their fraud, dishonesty and robbery nationally.
  • That the Word of God, which many know in their hearts, will come to the minds and actions of all those involved.
  • That God will strengthen and continue to protect our on-the-ground South Sudanese staff as they prepare for the new planting/raining season in March this year.
  • That the importation of seeds, and other inputs for the farm will be done without attempts by border officials who look for bribes.
  • That the rains will be consistent and adequate for the next growing season.
  • That God will give CBM and our Board of Directors wisdom in establishing a stronger management system to make more efficient use of our staff and machinery
  • That God will continue to protect our facilities and equipment and keep the fighting factions away from our area of operation
  • That God will move the United Nations to become more pro-active in imposing peace on South Sudan.
  • That God will give Cal Bombay Ministries (CBM) wisdom both in decision-making and how to specifically allocate funds for the best results for the good of the grass-roots people of South Sudan
  • That God would move the hearts of more Canadians to become involved in the needs of the people of South Sudan in both their praying and financial support through CBM.
